The Nissan X Trail 2018 range has been a popular choice for many drivers in a highly competitive segment. So, many drivers are anticipating the 2019 model. As the top of the range grade, what can you expect from the Ti?
An Interesting Design
When looking at the older Nissan X Trail, Perth drivers may have noticed a boxy silhouette, but this has changed with the newer models. The 2019 X Trail now features an interesting design with elegant lines sweeping over the wheel arches and a bold front end. As the top of the range model, the Ti builds on these characteristics with chrome strips skirting under the doors, LED headlights, 19 inch aluminium alloys, and a panoramic sunroof.
A Fantastic Feature Spec List
Although the X Trail range does offer an extensive list of variants, the Ti certainly offers the best spec list. It is packed with features including sat nav, DAB+ radio, seven inch touchscreen, power and heated front seats, roof rails, leather upholstery, and dual zone climate control. These features are also available on the ST-L sitting below the Ti. However, the Ti also has a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, 19 inch alloys, LED adaptive headlights, eight speaker Bose stereo and auto tailgate with kick open functionality.
A Practical Interior
The X Trail is very spacious with plenty of legroom in the second row even for taller adults. Although the headroom is reduced in the rear by the sunroof, there is still ample space. The model is also equipped with a fantastic amount of cargo space. The boot offers 565 litres with all the seats in place and can be opened up to 945 litres with the rear seats folded. There is further storage under the boot floor.
Rear passengers also have cupholders, door pockets, and directional air vent, while up front there is plenty of storage including centre console bin, cupholders, door pockets, glove box and storage cubby in front of the shifter.
Impressive Fuel Consumption
The Ti is equipped with a four cylinder 2.5 litre petrol engine paired with a CVT automatic transmission. This runs on standard 91 RON unleaded fuel, and you can expect a fuel consumption rate of 8.3 litres per 100 kilometres.
A Fantastic Safety Package
The entire Nissan X Trail range was awarded the maximum ANCAP rating of five stars, and the Ti is equipped with a fantastic safety package. This includes advanced safety equipment such as AEB to automatically brake for collision avoidance, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and rear cross traffic alert.
A Great Drive Experience
The generous seats in the X Trail ensure that you enjoy great comfort and the vehicle remains composed on even patchy surfaces. With the fantastic equipment specification, thrifty fuel consumption and sleek design, you’re sure to enjoy driving the Ti, whether you’re hitting the open highway or negotiating the urban jungle.
